Eddie Griffin

Eddie Griffin first gained major recognition in 2001 with a lead role in Double Take alongside Orlando Jones, followed by a dramatic performance in John Q (2002), which earned him respect as a serious actor. Griffin’s standout role as Anton Jackson in Undercover Brother (2002) further solidified his status as a leading man. His extensive film credits include Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo (1999), Scary Movie 3 (2003), My Baby’s Daddy (2004), and Norbit (2007), among others. Griffin is also known for his award-winning comedy special Dysfunktional Family (2003) and his 2018 special Undeniable on Showtime. He has contributed to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and Chronic 2001 albums, voiced Richard Pryor in Black Dynamite on Adult Swim, and played a supporting role in A Star is Born (2018).

Comedy Central honored Eddie as one of the Top 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of all time. He has conquered not only the stage but the silver screen as well, appearing in over 50 films and numerous television shows.
