BRIAN REGAN IS COMING TO LEXINGTON OPERA HOUSE ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 28
LEXINGTON, KY (September 9, 2024) –– Brian Regan is coming to Lexington Opera House on Saturday, December 28, 2024. Tickets will be available for purchase starting at 10 A.M. on Friday, September 13. Purchase tickets at ticketmaster.com, lexingtonoperahouse.com, or in person at the Central Bank Center Box Office from 12-4 P.M. on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Critics, fans and fellow comedians agree: Brian Regan is one of the most respected comedians in the country with Vanity Fair calling Brian, “The funniest stand-up alive,” and Entertainment Weekly calling him, “Your favorite comedian’s favorite comedian.” Having built his 30-plus year career on the strength of his material alone, Brian’s non-stop theater tour continuously fills the most beautiful venues across North America, visiting close to 100 cities each year.
Brian co-stars in three seasons of Peter Farrelly’s TV series, Loudermilk, which moved to Netflix on January 1, 2024 ranking in the Top 10 TV Shows on Netflix for over a month. Farrelly personally cast Brian in the series alongside Ron Livingston, Anja Savcic, Will Sasso, and Mat Fraser. Brian received praise for his portrayal of “Mugsy,” a recovering addict who is estranged from his family. The series’ first two seasons aired on AT&T’s Audience Network before moving to Amazon Prime to premiere the third season.
On February 23, 2021, Brian Regan premiered his second Netflix stand-up special, Brian Regan: On The Rocks, which was filmed at the Tuachan Center for the Arts, an outdoor amphitheater in Utah. His first Netflix special, Brian Regan: Nunchucks And Flamethrowers, debuted to rave reviews on November 21, 2017, and is also available as a vinyl album. Additionally, Brian stars in his own Netflix series, Stand Up And Away! With Brian Regan, which premiered on Christmas Eve 2018. This four-episode, half-hour series combines sketch comedy and stand-up and was executive produced by Brian Regan and Jerry Seinfeld.
A regular on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Brian is uniquely invited for both a performance segment and a couch chat. He was also a frequent guest on The Late Show with David Letterman, making 28 appearances. Brian made a memorable cameo in Chris Rock’s film Top Five and appeared on two episodes of Seinfeld’s Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, now streaming on Netflix.
