Central Bank Center Welcomes Joey Trevino as Director of Booking
Lexington, Kentucky (January 27, 2025)– Central Bank Center, managed by Oak View Group, is excited to announce Joey Trevino as its new Director of Booking for Rupp Arena and the Lexington Opera House. Working alongside General Manager Brian Sipe, Trevino will be instrumental in delivering a diverse and dynamic schedule of events designed to enrich and energize Kentucky.

"With over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including roles in theatrical stage management and arena event management including most recently in Corpus Christi TX for Oak View Group, relocation to Lexington KY to Turn Up Rupp is a dream!"
The year 2024 marked a significant achievement for Rupp Arena, highlighted by a prestigious nomination for Arena of the Year at the 36th Annual Pollstar Awards. For the second consecutive year, Rupp Arena surpassed all previous records for hosting concerts and touring events, further cementing its status as Kentucky's premier entertainment venue. By consistently outperforming larger regional competitors, Rupp Arena has solidified its reputation for excellence and continues to attract world-class entertainment to the Bluegrass State.
"Since 2021, Oak View Group has delivered for the people of Kentucky some of the biggest names in live entertainment, breaking records and establishing a list of firsts, including 2 comedians taping a Netflix comedy special at the Opera House and hosting Farewell tours of The Eagles and Elton John", said Sipe, General Manager. "With Joey leading our booking efforts, we will continue to bring great concerts, family shows, sporting events, and cultural events for all of our fellow citizens!"
In 2024, the Lexington Opera House also achieved a significant milestone by making its debut on Pollstar’s Q3 rankings. It secured the #87 spot in the U.S. and #109 worldwide for tickets sold, highlighting its increasing prominence both nationally and globally.
"My experience programming events at the American Bank Center and Selena Auditorium in Corpus Christi, Texas, has prepared me to contribute to this dynamic team," said Trevino. "I’ve had the privilege of booking a variety of successful shows, including WWE-Friday Night SmackDown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Reba, Barry Manilow, Creed, Koe Wetzel, Ludacris, Lil Wayne, Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and Chris Stapleton.
