Parking/Traffic Advisory for Saturday, October 14th in Downtown Lexington
LEXINGTON, KY (October 11, 2017) – There are multiple events happening in downtown Lexington on Saturday, October 14th, so patrons are advised to plan ahead.
The following events will take place at Lexington Center venues:
• The KY Reptile Show will be held in Heritage Ballrooms from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 400 – 600 people is the projected attendance.
• The Signature Productions Spa Show will take place in Heritage Hall West from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Expected attendance is unknown at this time.
• Approximately 600 people are expected to attend the Hardrock Promotions MMA event in Heritage Hall Center from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
• The Troubadour Concert Series will host Chris Isaac in concert at 7:30 p.m. at The Lexington Opera House. Approximately 700 will attend.
• The annual Bourbon Chase event will take place on Saturday in Triangle Park from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
West Main St. and Vine St. from Jefferson St. to Broadway will be closed for the Bourbon Chase event from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m., so downtown traffic will be impacted.
According to Bill Owen, President and CEO of Lexington Center, “People should plan to arrive early and allow extra time to find a parking spot. Parking is available at the Rupp lot on High Street and Manchester St./West Main St.”
