RUPP ARENA TO HOST SECOND COUNTRY CONCERT!
98.1 THE BULL & HARDEEāS PRESENT ACOUSTIC CONCERT SHOW #2 ON MARCH 20TH
98.1 The Bull and Hardee’s will present Acoustic Concert Show #2 featuring Jon Pardi and a full roster of country artists including Jordan Davis, Lauren Alaina, Travis Denning and Priscilla Block at Rupp Arena on Saturday, March 20th at 7:30pm.
This will be the second concert at Rupp Arena since the Covid-19 shutdown in March 2020. In compliance with Team Kentucky and the Governor’s Office, attendance numbers will again be restricted to 2,800 patrons.
Hosted by Officer Don and Deann from 98.1 The Bull, Acoustic Concert Show #2 is a special evening featuring live, intimate, acoustic performances from both headliner and emerging country singer/songwriters.
According to Director of Arena Management, Carl Hall, “We are looking forward to hosting another exciting concert and welcoming country music fans back to Rupp Arena in March. We ask that patrons do their part to cooperate fully with the health restrictions set in place, including wearing face masks at all times and social distancing so we can continue to offer live entertainment in a safe and secure setting.”
The 21,492 arena seating capacity will be scaled down to 15% capacity, which includes 2,800 patrons and event staff. Tickets will be sold in restricted, socially distanced seat blocks of up to four.
Presented by 98.1 The Bull and Hardee’s, tickets go on sale Friday, February 12th at 10am. All ticket sales will be conducted online only at Ticketmaster.com.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, tickets are available on mobile devices only. Patrons can only use the Ticketmaster transfer option to forward tickets to the attending patrons in order to aid in contact tracing. Face coverings for patrons and staff will be required to be worn during the entire event. All guests must adhere to social distancing throughout the facility, including their seat location. Before entering, all patrons will be subject to temperature checks and may be subject to other CDC and KY State Department of Health regulations during the event. Patrons will be allowed to bring in one clear bag only (12”x12”x6”) or a small clutch purse no greater than 4.5” x 6.5.”
Artist Bios
Jon Pardi is an American country music singer/songwriter from Dixon, California. Pardi has established his own voice within country music by combining classic ‘90s country with a contemporary sound. His debut album, Write You a Song, spearheaded a career on the country charts with “Up All Night” landing in the Top 10. Pardi released California Sunrise in 2016, an album that went on to become certified Platinum and includes chart-topping hits such as “Head Over Boots,” “Dirt on My Boots,” and “Heartache on the Dance Floor.” In 2017, Pardi won the CMA Award for New Artist of the Year along with the ACM Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year. He has also toured with some of country music’s biggest stars such as Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, and Luke Bryan.
Jordan Davis is an American country music singer/songwriter from Shreveport, Louisiana. Davis’ debut album, Home State, garnered over one billion streams since its release in 2018. He has yielded three consecutive #1 hits and Platinum-certified singles including “Singles You Up,” “Take It From Me,” and “Slow Dance In a Parking Lot.” Davis was named Best New Country Artist at the iHeart Radio Music Awards in 2019 and was also a nominee for ACM New Male Artist of the Year and CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year.
Lauren Alaina is a multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina’s 2017 sophomore album, Road Less Traveled, smashed the country music charts and was the most-streamed album of the year for a female country artist. With three #1 singles (“Road Less Traveled,” “What Ifs” with Kane Brown, and “One Beer” with HARDY), she has become one of the biggest breakout stars in country music taking home awards for the ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year, CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year, and CMT Collaborative Video of the Year.
Travis Denning is an American country music singer/songwriter from Warner Robins, Georgia. Over the past three years, Denning has released his debut EP, Beer’s Better Cold, and landed on the country charts with “David Ashley Parker from Powder Springs” and “After A Few,” which skyrocketed into country radio’s Top 5.
Priscilla Block is a country music singer/songwriter originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. After sharing new songs such as “Thick Thighs” on social media app TikTok, Block has established an enthusiastic fanbase that helped propel her song, “Just About Over You,” into country radio’s Top 40.
