SCAPA Presents “Anything Goes” at the Lexington Opera House from Thursday, April 17 to Saturday, April 19, 2025
LEXINGTON, KY (March 19, 2025) –– Set sail for a night of laughter and classic tunes! The School for Creative and Performing Arts (SCAPA) at Lafayette High School is delighted to announce its production of Cole Porter's beloved musical comedy, "Anything Goes," at the historic Lexington Opera House, April 17 through 19, 2025. Featuring timeless hits like "Anything Goes," "I Get a Kick Out of You," and "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," this production promises to transport audiences to the glamorous world of a 1930s ocean liner, where romance and hilarity collide.

Under the expert direction of Alberta Labrillazo, the cast delivers a performance filled with wit and energy. Diana Evans Pulliam's dynamic choreography adds a visually stunning element to the show, while Karina Johnson’s musical direction ensures a flawless rendition of Porter's unforgettable score. The student orchestra, conducted by Aaron Breeck, will deliver the music with vibrant passion. "We are thrilled to present 'Anything Goes' to the Lexington community," says SCAPA Arts Facilitator Meredith Spaeth.
